Q: I live in the dmv, is it possible to pickup my order?
A: If you do not live in Washington D.C., Southern MD, or Virginia pickup or delivery is not an option. If you do live in these areas your order must total at least $70 for pickup or delivery. Madison’s Mary’s are not eligible for delivery or pickup.
Q: what is a chumba wumba?
A: A Chumba Wumba is a cookie whose flavor has been pushed to the max. Weighing in at approximately 6 oz, these cookies are big, bold, and beautiful.
Q: what is the best way to heat up my wumbas and big vee’s?
A: Our cookies are best eaten within the first 3 days of receiving. During this time they should be stored in the fridge. For that perfect crispy outside and gooey center, remove them from their packaging and heat in the microwave for 10 second intervals or in a 350˚ oven for 5-8 minutes or until warm. After 3 days any extras should be stored in the freezer in their original packaging for up to 3 months. When ready to eat, thaw, reheat them in the oven, and get ready to enjoy these babies!
Q: HOW EARLY IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE a custom ORDER?
A: Custom or catered desserts must be ordered and paid within 2 weeks minimum. (This does not include weekends and National Holidays). Any orders needed in less time will be charged a rush fee that varies per order.
Q: how long after i order should i expect my desserts to be ready for shipping?
A: Because our cookies are so popular, and currently we only have one chef in the kitchen, it is easier for us to have PRE-ORDERS. Items are shipped on a designated day once every month. So take a look at the top of the item page, and there you can find the date your lovely babies will be sent to your door! Customer orders will be shipped at least 3 days before your requested due date.
Q: why is your processing time longer than most businesses?
A: Our processing time is longer because we are a Small Business. Our team consists of a head baker, delivery driver, packager, photographer and so much more, all of which is done by one person, Madison. So please be patient as we are mixing your cookies and cakes as fast as possible while still maintaining great quality! You can learn more about Madison right here.
Q: WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER FOR MY ORDER?
A: Tracking information will be sent close to the shipment date so don’t worry if you don’t get one right away, we didn’t forget about you! 😁
Q: Why are your shipping prices different from other businesses?
A: We provide perishable items meaning they must be shipped quickly to maintain peak freshness for the customer. Our cookies are also bigger than your typical bakery which adds to the weight of your package. To guarantee your cookies are received moist and safe to eat, we choose some of the highest-speed shipping available.
