Personally we don’t think that raspberries are appreciated enough, so instead of pairing this cake with any secondary flavors we decided to give the raspberry it’s spotlight.

The vanilla-soaked cake just a great job of not overpowering the fresh raspberry buttercream but being a mere assistant if you will. In between the layers is raspberry jam and raspberry Quadratini wafers. She’s a true gem in the cake world.
